Most of the android devices starts lagging/ hanging after some usage period which is very annoying. So in order to maintain smooth experience, following are some steps through which you are able to make your android device fast.
1) Reduce Animation Scale
Animation scale is an animation by which any app is to be opened in your device. More the animation more time is taken by your device in opening an app. I recommended you to set animation scale to 0.5 or totally off your animation in order to experience fast switching between apps.
Steps to reduce animation scale:
i) Go to Settings.
ii) Swipe down and tap on Developers options
iii) Find three options: a) Windows animation scale
b) Transition animation scale
c) Animator duration scale
iv) Set these duration scales to 0.5x or at animation off.
2) Remove unused widgets on home screen.
3) Don't use live wallpapers, use static wallpapers.
4)Clean your cache by using clean master app or any other app.
Clean cache without using any app
a) Go to Settings
b) Choose apps/ Application manager
c) Open any app and tap on clear cache.
(Note: Don't choose clear data option, it will delete the app data. Forexample: If you clear data of whatsapp, it will delete your both chats and account)
5)Clean your Ram by using any Ram cleaner app.
6) Restart your device once in a day to clean RAM.
7) Use light weighted third party home launchers like Nova and Apex Launcher.
8)Move apps to internal storage to clear phone memory.
Steps:
a) Go to Settings.
b) Choose Apps or Application manager
c) Open any app and tap on "move to internal storage" option.
(In Image I move ES File Explorer to internal storage.)
(Note: You are only able to move user apps not system apps. If you wanted to move system apps to internal storage then, you have to root your device and move these apps with Link2sd app or any other app)
9) Don't update system apps which you are not using.
10) If you have rooted android device then, delete all system apps which you are not using. For this purpose you can use ES File Manager or any other app.
